How can you help
The governmnet has now set up a service where you can sign up to help out is a much better way as it looks like volunteers are DBS checked. To Sign up you can go to the Goodsam page found at https://www.goodsamapp.org/NHS

There are other ways in which you can help
- Help with food shopping - you could do this yourself and leave the groceries on the person’s doorstep.
- Collecting medication - You can pick up medicines on someone else’s behalf observing the safe distances while doing so.
- Keep in contact as much as possible with family and friends - There is an app called HouseParty where you can connect to more than one person at a time.
- Make sure that you are Staying at Home - only going out if its absolutely essential
- Know where your children are - and that they only going out for exercise
- Check in your neighbours - through a window and a distance of 2 meters
- Don't panic buy as it creates problems for those who can't buy in bulk.
- Create helpful content to share online - Worksheets, games etc
- Don't call the police and ambulance services unless its an emerency as this help keep them clear.
- Please don't go to the GP or hospitals unless it really needed.
